KBCH AM 1400

Facilities: 1400 kHz with 1000 watts from a new (1998) transmitter, providing increased coverage.

Operation: Founded in 1955, KBCH was the second station in Lincoln County. KBCH has become Lincoln City's heritage radio station, operated 24 hours a day by Yaquina Bay Communications, Inc.

Service Area: North Lincoln County and southern Tillamook County on Oregon's central Pacific Coast. This area has nearly 30,000 residents but with the influx of weekly visitors and tourists, it often swells to triple its own population.

Programming: Adult Pop Standards with tunes from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, The Carpenters, Johnny Mathis, plus news, talk and sports.

Audience: Targeted to adults 30+, reaching the large coastal retirement population.

News and Sports. Strong local news with a 7 day a week local news team and equipment capable of direct contact with the studio. Hourly national news. Local play-by-play broadcasts of Taft High School sports, plus Portland Trailblazer basketball and University of Oregon football and basketball.

Promotion: Promotion with this heritage station reaches the lucrative retirement population. Add the ability to combine promotions with our four other stations for the most impact to the broadest audience in the area.
